A: S. Aureus is a type of bacteria that sometimes causes serious infections (staph infections is redundant) and dangerous syndromes such as Toxic Shock Syndrome.
Q: What is Pseudomonas Aeruginosa?
A. P. Aeruginosa is a type of bacteria that sometimes causes UTI’s and other dangerous illinesses such as pneumonia and meningitis.

Q: Why doesn’t Asana offer tampons?
A: Asana doesn’t offer tampons for a few important reasons, many of which are related to health.
In general, tampons may:
- Leave behind fibers, altering the pH levels in the vagina
- Attract the overgrowth of bad bacteria that cause issues like yeast infections
- Accidentally tear or peel the vaginal wall
- Cause Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS), leading to death
